After TracyLocke successfully helped Pepsi crowd-source a new nickname for Panther’s linebacker Luke Kuechly, Pepsi wanted to continue the momentum and run year two of the program. In an effort to re-engage the local Carolina consumer and keep the program feeling fresh, we flipped the script and had Luke do the nicknaming this time. We ran a TVC staring Luke himself and created a digital experience where consumers can generate their own nicknames. We supported the program with digital shorts on social, robust point of sale at retail, and custom-illustrated limited edition Panthers Pepsi cans.
